Abi Nərd: privacy policy

What we collect

• Player name and country. You choose a name to play online; it, your country flag (optional), your rating and your wins are public on the leaderboard and shown to your opponents. Before your name is first published you accept the player rules; we store when you did.
• Profile photo (optional). If you choose a photo, the app sends a small square copy without its metadata (no location); our server re-encodes it and stores it with your player. It is public next to your name on the leaderboard and in games. You can remove it in Settings at any time.
• Game data. Your online games (moves, dice, results and rating changes), linked to a random player id.
• Reports. If you report another player's name or photo, we store who reported whom and why, to review it.
• Hidden players. If you hide a player, we store that you did, so that you are never matched with them. Your phone keeps its own list to hide them on the leaderboard.
• Crash reports and usage statistics through Google Firebase (device model, Android version, app events and the random player id), to fix problems.
• Technical logs. Our server keeps short-lived request logs (IP address and device user agent) for security and troubleshooting, deleted within days.

Games against Abi (the computer) stay on your phone. The game does not use the advertising ID and shows no ads.

Who processes it

DigitalOcean (our server, database and photo storage), Google Firebase Analytics and Crashlytics (usage statistics and crash reports) and Google Play (distribution and updates). We do not sell your data or share it for advertising.

Player rules

Your name and photo are public: other players see them on the leaderboard and in games. Before your name or photo goes online you accept these rules:

• No offensive, hateful, sexual or violent names or photos.
• Do not pretend to be someone else: another player, a well-known person, a brand or our staff.
• No other people's personal data: no phone numbers or addresses, and no photos of other people without their consent.

Anyone can report a name or photo by tapping a player on the leaderboard or their opponent in a game. We review every report: names that break the rules are replaced, photos are removed, and serious or repeated cases are deleted. You can also hide a player: you no longer see them on the leaderboard and you are never matched with them. You can delete your own player at any time (see below). Keeping and deleting your player

Your player (name, country, photo, rating, games and hidden players) is kept until you delete it. You can delete your player, name, photo and place on the leaderboard yourself in the app: Settings → Delete my player. Your photo is removed from our storage at the same time; if the storage is briefly unavailable, it is removed automatically as soon as it is back. You can also email info@solosoft.az with your player name and we delete it within 30 days. Uninstalling the game removes the data stored on your phone.

What stays after a deletion. Finished games stay in your opponents' game history, without your name or photo, linked only to the random player id. Reports you made, or that were made about you, stay linked to the same id so that we can deal with abuse. Both are kept for as long as the game is online. Crash reports and usage statistics already sent to Google Firebase are not linked to your name, and Firebase deletes them under its own retention periods.

Reporting and hiding

Tap a player on the leaderboard, or your opponent in a game, to report an offensive name or photo or to hide the player. We review reports and rename players or remove photos that break the rules.
