Abi Domino: privacy policy

What we collect

• Player name and country. You choose a name to play online; it, your country flag (optional), your ratings and your wins are public on the leaderboard and shown to the other players at your table. Before your name is first published you accept the player rules; we store when you did.
• Profile photo (optional). If you choose a photo, the app sends a small square copy without its metadata (no location); our server re-encodes it and stores it with your player. It is public next to your name on the leaderboard and at the table. You can remove it in Settings at any time.
• Game data. Your online games (tiles played, results and rating changes) and the short phrases you send at the table, linked to a random player id. There is no free-text chat.
• Reports. If you report another player's name or photo, we store who reported whom and why, to review it. The report is linked to the two random player ids, not to the names.
• Hidden players. If you hide a player, we store that you did, by the two random player ids, not by the names. It is used only to keep the two of you apart: you are never seated at the same table, and the app hides them in the lists you see. It is deleted with either player. Your phone keeps its own list too, to hide them on the leaderboard.
• Crash reports and usage statistics through Google Firebase (device model, Android version, app events and the random player id, which is also the user id in Firebase), to fix problems.
• Firebase identifiers. Firebase installation ids, Analytics app-instance and session ids, and Crashlytics installation UUIDs, session ids and crash ids identify an app installation or a session, count affected installations and distinguish duplicate crash reports. Google Firebase Analytics and Crashlytics use them to measure app use and diagnose crashes. They are separate from the server player id, are not shown to other players and are not used for advertising.
• Technical logs. Our server keeps short-lived request logs (IP address and device user agent) for security and troubleshooting, deleted within days.

Games against Abi (the computer) stay on your phone. Your player id is kept in your phone's Android backup, so a reinstall keeps your player; there is no sign-in. The game does not use the advertising ID and shows no ads.

Who processes it

DigitalOcean (our server, database and photo storage), Google Firebase Analytics and Crashlytics (usage statistics and crash reports) and Google Play (distribution and updates). We do not sell your data or share it for advertising. We use it to match you with other players, run fair games, keep the leaderboard and fix crashes.

Player rules

Your name and photo are public: other players see them on the leaderboard and at the table. Before your name or photo goes online you accept these rules:

• No offensive, hateful, sexual or violent names or photos.
• Do not pretend to be someone else: another player, a well-known person, a brand or our staff. The computer players' names (Abi, Abi 2, Abi 3) and our studio names are reserved.
• No other people's personal data: no phone numbers or addresses, and no photos of other people without their consent.

Anyone can report a name or photo by tapping a player on the leaderboard. We review every report: names that break the rules are replaced, photos are removed, and serious or repeated cases are deleted. You can also hide a player: you no longer see them on the leaderboard and you are never seated at the same table. You can delete your own player at any time (see below). Keeping and deleting your player

Your player (name, country, photo, ratings, queue place and hidden players) is kept until you delete it. You can delete your player, name, photo and place on the leaderboard yourself in the game: Settings → Delete my player (steps: delete your player). An unfinished online game is given up for you. Your photo is removed from our storage at the same time; if the storage is briefly unavailable, it is removed automatically as soon as it is back. You can also email info@solosoft.az with your player name and we delete it within 30 days. Uninstalling the game removes the data stored on your phone.

What stays after a deletion. Finished games stay in the other players' game history, without your name or photo, linked only to the random player id. Reports you made, or that were made about you, stay linked to the same id so that we can deal with abuse. Both are kept for as long as the game is online. Hidden players do not stay: a hide is deleted when either of the two players is deleted. Crash reports and usage statistics already sent to Google Firebase can remain linked to the old player id and Firebase identifiers; the app does not send your player name or photo to Firebase.

Firebase data. Deleting your player in the app clears the player user id in Analytics and Crashlytics, resets the Analytics app-instance id and locally stored Analytics data, and deletes crash reports that have not yet been sent. It does not delete the Firebase installation id or erase reports and events already sent to Google.

Crashlytics keeps crash reports and their installation, session and crash identifiers for 90 days before starting removal from live and backup systems. Analytics user-level and event-level data, including app-instance and session identifiers, follow the property's configured retention period (2 or 14 months for standard Google Analytics properties); new activity can restart the user-identifier retention period. Standard aggregated reports are not covered by that limit. These identifiers are separate from the random server player id and are not public profile fields. Reporting and hiding

Tap a player on the leaderboard or at the table to report an offensive name or photo or to hide the player. We review reports and rename players or remove photos that break the rules.

Children

The game is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect their data.
